This project is not about making money. It is a personal labour of love, and a resource intended to help support and maintain the country we know and love.

That said, a project of this scale comes with real costs: website hosting, database infrastructure, and (a new one for me) errors & omissions insurance (so companies can’t threaten legal action for unfavourable scores). These expenses will grow as the site grows and develops new features.

You can help support our mission with any size donation you're comfortable with. We accept one-time or recurring donations. The amount isn't important - even small contributions will help to support this resource for all Canadians.

If you can't contribute financially, you can still help in other ways:

• spread the word about The CANADA List: share our website on social media, tell your friends and family, and encourage Canadian businesses to get listed.
• use the vendor links on the site to help purchase the great Canadian-owned/Canadian-made products that we list. Using these links not only helps the vendors, it also offers The Canada List a small commission that we can use to help maintain the site.
