We use Brevo as our newsletter platform and CRM to manage subscriber records, deliver newsletters, and track newsletter engagement such as opens and clicks. We do not sell, rent, or trade newsletter subscriber information.
• Contact and Submission Forms: If you provide your contact information through any form on our website—including product submissions, support requests, or donation forms—we may retain your information. By submitting your email or other contact details through these forms, you agree that we may use this information to contact you regarding your submission, and occasionally add you to our newsletter or updates list. You can unsubscribe or opt out at any time.
• Email Communications: Emails received by The CANADA List may be processed by 3rd party AI services (e.g. OpenAI) to help classify, prioritize, route, and summarize messages and assist us in preparing responses. Emails are stripped of names, email addresses, metadata, and other identifying information before being sent to these services. We do not use email content to train AI models or authorize our service providers to do so. By default, we set retention to false, which means OpenAI will not retain response data after the response is generated, however, they may still do so in abuse-monitoring situations, for up to 30 days where required by law or reasonably necessary to protect its services or third parties from harm.
